About DJ Aqualight

DJ Aqualight's passion for playing “music that moves you” is stronger now than ever. In 1991, Craig got his first taste of being a DJ at college radio station KLPI in Ruston, LA. During his 3 year run at KLPI, Craig was promoted to music director and launched the station's first dance mix show. The show turned out to be a hit and it was at that point that the club DJ job offers started coming in. Craig landed two successful club residencies in Monroe, LA. He was later approached by Carnival Cruise to be a DJ on 2 of their ships. Not being quite the DJ experience he’d imagined, Craig left Carnival and moved back to Dallas in hopes of getting a residency at one of the largest clubs in the city.

After many application submissions in the spring of 1995, Craig was finally hired on as a DJ/Lighting Technician for Caven Enterprises – owners of JR's, Sue Ellen’s, TMC and Village Station/S4. It was at the former Village Station that Craig got his taste of playing for a mega club dance floor. During his time at Village, Craig was part of the DJ crew that brought the club one of its most successful nights – Wednesday Night/Straight Night. In recent years, Craig has had residencies at Mickey’s bar as well as the new Brick bar in Dallas, TX.

Today, DJ Aqualight is a respected name in the Dallas club scene. His goal is to push the envelope with every set he plays and is known for his edgier style. Craig has always connected with the heavy percussion sounds of Tech House, Tribal, and Progressive House which is apparent when he is behind the decks commanding the dance floor.
